“Igniscrow”

Short Story

It is suddenly impossible, to create fire. Scientists all around the world are desperately trying to find a solution. A crazy hobby scientist writes letters to his sister. Is it really possible that of all the people, he is the one to find a solution?

This short story happened in a school course in the Propädeutikum ZHdK. We had to start out with describing a small detail (I picked the charcoal in our fireplace at home) and then based on that, create a short story.
Additionally, it was part of the exercise to choose and customize a medium which fits the story. I created four envelopes with letters and an extract of a newspaper – as if they were sent from the main character of the story to the reader.
