It’s hard to find the right words for what we get to witness on the news every day.
I, like most of you probably, cannot even imagine what it must be like to live through the horrors, the people of Ukraine had to and still have to.

This drawing is the least I can do to show my support for the people in Ukraine right now. And I would like to go one step further because I felt like this can’t be enough.

So, I would like to hold a little AUCTION for a UNIQUE, HAND SIGNED, PRINT of this drawing*, “Fight the Reaper”, donating 100% of the profit to a non-profit organization (which I am still to decide and will announce along with the exact date and time of the auction in my story).

What I was trying to show, is how the relationship between Swift and Hazard formed and his ✨character development ✨. Swift was never able to admit a mistake when he was younger, but after an incident he changed and from there on never ever blamed Hazard for anything anymore, taking full responsibility for both of them. 🥺

Second part of my entry for @kalisdice.ocs 3k event #murakaocs - AU Swift’s character sheet, and some concept / sketches. I imagined Swift bumping into @thefoxy_trot ‘s characters Sia and Saien on one of his scouting flights hehe, I hope I got them right. uvu

Little side note for ‪Hazard and Spätzli (since it didn’t fit on the character sheet XD)‬
Hazard is a loyal and brave Welkin, but a little clumsy!
The Welkin baby, Spätzli, was a gift for Kalila and was left with Swift when she fled. It’s a very cheeky and a bit of an annoying little guy, which likes to attack/bite/scratch men (including Swift) but quickly befriends women.

Also, the Welkin’s color theme depend on the sky’s color when they hatched. So they might be reddish or pink / orange when hatching on a sunrise/sunset or black with white freckles during a clear night etc. 👁v👁

Swift is a Captain and Welkin-Pilot and this is his Welkin partner, Hazard. Contrary to popular belief, Welkin‘s are in fact not griffins but rather a species mixed between birds and archaeopteryx. Quick thumbnail test for a melancholic graveyard scene for „Project Zoo“ 🪶.

As I grew up next to a graveyard, I have always felt incredibly fascinated by their unique, peaceful and yet almost melancholic atmosphere. Wherever I go, I always try to visit the locals graveyards! 🌲🪦🌲

I‘m still unsure about the graveyard‘s atmosphere in this scene, though (hence the mixed mood board lol). I want it to be peaceful and old / neglected, since this plays in a kind of post-apocalyptic world. But maybe still a touch of eeriness and mystery? 🌚
